CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act)

The California legislature enacted the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), a data privacy law, in 2018. It took effect on 1 January 2020. The law enhances privacy rights and consumer protection for California residents by giving them greater control over their personal information.
