“Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”  – Regulatory Trends in 2022

So often when articles are aimed at women concerning trends, they relate to diets, jeans style, holiday destinations and anti-aging skincare regimes.

However, when Corlytics look at trends around this year’s International Women’s day theme, ‘Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow’, we look at the stuff that’s important to women – that of regulation around gender, equality and sustainability.  We don’t have a front row seat to observe the latest in skirt lengths or whether skinny jeans are in or out this year, but we do have enough data to see important trends and when we ran a search looking at the last three years of published regulatory content we can see that the volume of content including ‘gender+equality’ has increased year on year.

In the case of ‘gender+equality+sustainability’ we see a smaller increase, but perhaps with a global push to a more sustainable future and the realisation that women are key to this future we’ll see a significant increase in our chart at the end of 2022.
